Gracefest 2009 Face Painting

The boys enjoyed a fun filled day at Gracefest and Ms. Mac,
our school's very gifted Art Teacher, was there painting faces.
C.H. wanted this lively snake. If you look closely at C.H.'s temple,
you can see a bulge in the snake. This was C.H.'s request
.....it is the rat that the snake ate!

T.H. chose the tiger and is pulling it off nicely. With his ruff
voice he is a very convincing and "ferocious" sounding jungle cat.
This also resembles a mugshot photo although he better
not look that happy if it ever does occur!!! HAHA!!!

I.C. chose the Coy Fish for his face painting. It covered nearly
a third of his face! It also brought out his big blue eyes!

Neighborhood Welcomes C.M.

We are very proud and excited to welcome the newest
member of our family. Mommy and baby are doing fine
and the other kiddos (all 5 of them!) are extremely
excited that he is finally here! Oh yeah......Daddy
is tickled pink....well.....baby blue.....that he is here too!

L.C. holds C.M. for the First Time

L.C. gets a big kick out of her little brother.

It's hard to say "little brother"

....seems like just yesterday she was C.M.'s size!

Welcome Home C.M.!!!

I.C. is an old pro at this big brother stuff!

The oldest and youngest boys in the household.

C.H. is pretty happy to be holding C.M. and it
looks like C.M. is actually enjoying it!

Our two snuggle bunnies!

T.H. couldn't be a more proud big brother!
He has declared that C.M. is he newest "best friend".

T.H. is not fazed or upset by C.M.'s occasional fussiness.
He really likes to calm his little bubby down : )

C.M. Makes His Debut to the Public

C.M. O'Dwyer arrived at 4:57 p.m. on
Tuesday, October 13, 2009 after a very brief labor
and exceptionally speedy delivery!
Aunt Tina was first on the red carpet to greet the
newest celebrity in the O'Dwyer family.

C.M.'s First Visitors at the Hospital

Aunt Jac is already planning when she can give
C.M. his first bath! It's a rite of passage to get
scrubbed pink by Aunt Jac : )
Mimi checks out grandchild #9 to make sure he's a "keeper".

Poppy gets some rocking in with C.M. before
heading to the house where 5 other grandkids
can't wait to see him and hear all about their
new brother!

Mam-maw wonders if she's holding a baby
or a mummy. C.M. slept for several hours
after his circumcision.

Pap-paw O'Dwyer's face says it all!
Grandchild #11 for Mam-maw and Pap-paw.

C.M. at Birth

Mommy and Daddy are so happy to see their "little" boy!

This is one VERY PROUD Daddy!

C.M. checks in for the baby boxing heavy weight
division at a whopping 9 pounds, 11.9 ounces
and 22 inches long!

Daddy is very serious about his job
of cutting the umbilical cord.

Being born is such a rude awakening!

Before & After C.M.'s Arrival

Waiting at the hospital for a room, we
decided to snap some "before" pics of the
41 week pregnant Mommy!
Front view is not too bad : )
Wow!!!
Look at the side view!
It's a wonder I didn't fall over while walking around.

C.M. - happy and healthy OUTSIDE of Mommy!
This was much more comfortable for Mommy
and I don't think he was complaining too
much about his change of locations.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

C.H. and T.H. learn that watching Saturday morning cartoon
just isn't the same when sitting with two wiggly little sisters!

Spooky Little Girls

Two spooky little girls!

J.T. gives an evil little grin to match her shirt that says,
"Just hand over the candy and no one gets hurt!"

J.T. is finished posing for Mom and
prepares to jump off the stool.

L.C. shows that not all jack-0-lanterns have to be scary!

Patiently waiting for Mom to get her in focus.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil

All 3 of the boys have gone for an eye exam over the past
two weeks and we learned...
C.H. is slightly far-sighted (but not enough to need glassses),
I.C. is near-sighted (enough that he needed glasses),
and T.H. has 20/20 vision so....
now no one has an excuse to claim they didn't
see something on the board at school : )

Saturday, October 3, 2009

C.H. checks out how his stock in Pokemon is doing.
T.H. starts his day out with a little jolt of
luke warm, black coffee and ponders which
investment is best for his money.

Girls Nap Time

Do you remember when you had no worries in the world?

I bet it looked something like this!

Tailgating - 1st UCA Home Game of the Season

J.T. and Daddy go head to head before the game.

L.C. appears to be more interested in reaching for
more tailgating food than getting her picture taken!

Our friends and fellow tailgaters - Ms. A and Miss C.

A partial family photo since the boys were all playing
in the Kid Zone both before and during the game.

Our friends were also childless for the evening thanks
to the Kid Zone. That may explain the big smiles
on both of their faces : )
All the girls pose for a pic before game time.
Unfortunately Mommy-to-Be couldn't fit into any
of her purple attire so she stands out in the crowd!
